Local County & State Fair Information

CHECK THE ON-LINE FAIR ENTRY BOOK FOR ENTRY DATES. SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

All Livestock Exhibitors will have to complete livestock ethic training to participate in the fairs.  Check your entry book for livestock ethic training options and requirements.

The YQCA training can be completed at https://yqcaprogram.org/. Please visit our website for information regarding Youth for the Quality Care of Animals.

Salinas Valley Fair

All livestock exhibitors MUST enter a Still exhibit in the 4-H youth department to be eligible to show at the fair with your livestock.

California State Fair! As we begin to prepare for the California State Fair please note deadlines, requirements and updates below.

DNA

DNA kits are available upon request directly from State Fair livestock office. The link is also available on the California State Fair website. Go to CAStateFair.org, click on Junior Livestock under the Competitions page to find the DNA Kit Request link. Check State fair website for deadlines.
