The Program Policy Analyst provides high-level analytical expertise in evaluating programs that fall under the purview of the UC Agriculture and Natural Resources Vice President and Associate Vice President of Programs. This position is part of the Program Planning and Evaluation team and works collaboratively to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and write concise and compelling impact statements and stories for accountability reporting, strategic communication, and advocacy purposes. The specific portfolio of this analyst position focuses on impact assessment. Responsibilities include: identifying potential quantitative common measures for condition change or other impact indicators; complex data analysis; leading training in impact assessment; facilitating high-level meetings comprised of internal and external stakeholders; and managing ad hoc projects that arise from the UC President's Office, government partners, state agencies, industry, and UC academics, among others.

As a UC Program Policy Analyst, this position is responsible for complete development, oversight, coordination, implementation, analysis, and reporting of all assignments given. The incumbent uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes, interprets, and develops solutions, and implements plans on a wide range of issues. It is essential that this position develops comprehensive action plans while meeting tight deadlines. Promotes, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals.
