Thanks to Doug Thomas of Crown Nursery for providing the photo to keep us posted of the progression of in field cold conditioning in MacDoel of our day neutral strawberries. These are Monterey
Total accumulation of chill by 10/14 in Macdoel (this picture was taken was 10/17 ) 305 hours (thank you Lassen Canyon Nurseries for tracking this info and posting it) between the critical temperatures of 33 and 45 degrees, offset by 283 + 61 hours above 60 degrees since Sept 1 (that being 61-80 degrees and 80-100, respectively).
