Working closely with UC researchers and HREC's outreach staff, the intern will develop a website to make the project's research and data accessible and understandable to the public at large. The specific goals will be as follows:
-Create a web page within the HREC site that is a hub for education and outreach for the UC Berkeley wildlife research projects
-Make use of the visually compelling nature of camera trap and GPS data to produce interactive maps and visualizations
-Develop videos, quizzes, or other content that helps relate research findings to the public
The intern will work closely with staff to develop and refine the target products and identify datasets that are best suited to this work.
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
